INTERNATIONAL TECHNOPARK OF IT STARTUPS
Astana Hub is an international Technopark of IT startups, wh ere conditions are created for the free development of Kazakh and foreign technology companies2 startup development programs:
  • The acceleration program is a process of accelerated development of startups at an early stage;
  • The incubation program is a more generalized, comprehensive program of incubation development of young IT projects.

SMART ASTANA

The program is aimed at increasing the quality of life and well-being of the population, improving and modernizing the infrastructure of Nur Sultan city and the level of public securit.
4 pilot projects of «Smart cities» were implemented: «Smart polyclinic», «Smart school», «Smart street lighting» and «Smart payments».

Within the implementation of the concept it is planned:

  • 6000 cameras on highways;
  • 4000 cameras in places of a mass congestion of people;
  • 3000 cameras in SEC, BC and others;
  • 50  meteo and environmental sensors.

iQALA CITY SERVICE CENTER

The iQala project solves the following tasks set in the Message of the President of Kazakhstan: to support businesses, to eliminate administrative barriers, to reduce corruption risks, and to introduce digitalization in public services.

One of the purposes of creating the Center is the elimination of corruption risks that arose due to the lack of contact between the service provider and the service recipient.

Providing online services will reduce the terms of receiving services.

The iQalakz_bot Telegram bot has also been created enabling clients to order instructions for obtaining an electronic invoice and a certificate of the National Certification Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (electronic digital signature), and receiving utility bills from the Astana-ERC.

To improve the service quality, iQala has opened a self-service zone with three personal computers equipped with webcams and an Internet connection.

In the self-service zone, the staff will assist you with obtaining an electronic digital signature on the e-government website Egov.kz.

All these innovations were introduced for the sake of convenience and to increase the digital literacy of people.
